Dr. Chris Bonts

Senior Pastor

Since 1996, Pastor Chris has made it his life goal to introduce as many people as possible to the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ while leading the local church to live out their identity as God’s family. Chris married Marcie, his high school sweetheart, in 1991. They have two children and three grandchildren. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ph.D., MDiv) and The Baptist College of Florida (BA Theology) and has served as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Middleburg since August 2020.
